It starts with a bloom

Roots spreading through the soil water is being lapped up

Green falls open textured stem locking itself to the bud

One after the other–they sore placing in the air–they blow swiftly

It starts with one seed it’s held together tight

Crackling into the mold rubber surrounds the base of its peak
